Ceramic bond diamond grinding wheel is mainly used for PCD, CVD, PCBN, cemented carbide, ceramic cutting tools and other cutting milling cutter, drill, reamer cutting tools such as grinding and grinding fast and efficient low damage.
The cup type grinding wheel with ceramic binding agent is suitable for the precision grinding of PCD and PCBN tools, and can also be used in the plane milling of hard and brittle non-metallic materials.
Resin grinding wheel:
The parallel grinding wheel is suitable for grinding machining of hard alloy and hard brittle non-metallic materials, outside garden, inner circle, centerless grinding, molding grinding and cutting.

The bronze binder grinding wheel is also used for the electrolytic grinding of carbide cutting tools.

Ceramic diamond grinding wheel solves the problem of low efficiency and poor blade quality of most cutting tool manufacturers. The high sharpness of ceramic diamond grinding wheel can improve the grinding efficiency of cutter manufacturer by 1.5 ~ 3 times and the quality of blade can be greatly improved.
The reason why we said Ceramic diamond grinding wheel is the most suitable for grinding wheel PCD/PCBN tools is because of the results of a large number experiments.
After a lot of experimentation we found out:
In the case of grinding PCD/PCBN, because the resin bond is soft, the grinding is easy to deform, the resin bonded diamond grinding wheel cannot effectively grind the PCD cutter. The metal binding agent is too strong for the combination of abrasive grains, which makes the grinding wheel self-sharpening and grinding efficiency are low, and the metal bond grinding wheel can cause the most serious damage on the edge of the PCD cutter. The ceramic bonded diamond wheel has many holes in it, which can be easily blocked and not easy to burn. From the test result analysis shows that under the same experimental conditions, the same grinding time, ceramic bond diamond grinding wheel grinding efficiency is much higher than resin bond and metal bond diamond grinding wheel.
