II. The abrasives& base of electroplated grinding wheels

The abrasives of electroplated grinding wheels can be divided into two types: diamond and CBN, so we can make diamond electroplated grinding wheels and CBN grinding wheels.

Generally speaking, the base of electroplated grinding wheels is steel.

IV. The advantages of electroplated grinding wheels

the grinding wheel remains very well when grinding;

4. The processing precision of the grinding wheel is comparatively higher, compared to the other types of grinding wheels.

V. The main disadvantage of electroplated grinding wheels

The abrasive layer of the electroplated grinding wheels is only have one or two layers diamond, if thicker ,it’s difficult to bond the diamond onto the base of the grinding wheel ,so that the diamond is easy to drop. As a result, the using life of the electroplated grinding wheels is comparatively short.
