The Materials of the cardboard cutting knife in Corrugated Industry
The cardboard cutting knife in Corrugated Industry can all be made in the following materials: Tungsten Carbide (T.C.), HSS (High Speed Steel-W6), Alloy Steel, Chrome Steel, Tool Steel, bearing steel, carbon steel, and etc.
Generally speaking, according to the client’s different orientation, we will recommend them to use the following four kinds of materials, Tungsten Carbide, High Speed Steel, Cr12MoV and 9CrSi, which all have the good performance in their scope . In terms of tenacity, the HSS performs better than T.C. , so when processing, a good processing environment and skilled technician are required. Or else, once the work-piece is very hard, the blade is easy to have breach. Please choose the suitable material for you according to your actual situation.

How to cut cardboard for different kinds of Corrugated knife?

(2) Fan knife: Fan knife is also known as slotted knife, which is usually used to slot the Corrugated Board!
(3) Long Knife: The Long Knife is usually composed of two parts, and the High Speed Steel (HSS) or Tungsten Carbide (T.C.) is usually welded as the cutting edge separately on the knife base, because in the process of cutting, the cutting edge is only used.
